The Ayers Foundation continues to partner with Bolivar Central High School and Middleton High School to help students identify and pursue opportunities beyond high school.
Janet Ayers, Chairman of the Ayers Foundation Trust, recently visited both schools alongside members of the foundation’s leadership and regional support team. The visit included tours of the school facilities and collaborative discussions with school and district administrators and Ayers counselors to identify challenges and barriers that may prevent students from accessing postsecondary opportunities, including college, technical education, and career pathways.
The visit provided an opportunity to review current practices, share perspectives, and identify ways to strengthen support for students as they prepare for life after graduation. Through its Ayers Scholars Program, the foundation works with students to help them plan for their futures and navigate the steps toward achieving their educational and career goals.
Hardeman County Schools Superintendent Dr. Christy Smith said, “We want every student to see a path forward after high school and have the support needed to pursue it. Our partnership with the Ayers Foundation helps us look beyond the barriers students may face and work together to find practical solutions. By strengthening this collaboration, we can better prepare our students for success in college, technical training, and the workforce.”
Hardeman County Schools appreciates the Ayers Foundation’s continued commitment to our students and its willingness to work alongside school and district leaders to strengthen postsecondary opportunities for students in our community.
